Responsibilities
Apply broad technical knowledge and skills to provide and maintain technology solutions in the assigned area. The candidate will work with analysts and the business area to understand and implement fixes and enhancements for Single Family Servicing applications.
Duties include troubleshooting of production issues, impact analysis of proposed changes, preparing level of effort estimates, coding, testing, writing documentation and preparing data conversions. Will require some off-hours coverage if problems arise affecting critical business processes. The position is responsible to ensure that projects meet technical and documentation standards, satisfy IT General Controls and follow implementation procedures.
Experience/Skills:
o Job requires a Bachelor degree in Computer Science or related discipline or an equivalent combination of education and experience from which comparable knowledge and skills may be acquired; and five years of experience across full life cycle application and systems development; programming experience; training; and certification.
o Must have experience as a developer or technical analyst on large-scale IBM mainframe with z/OS or MVS operating system.
o Experience in application development using COBOL, SAS (preferred), JCL, VSAM, IMS, DB2, BMS, CICS, TSO, IOF, SORT, JobTrac (preferred)
o Demonstrate a working knowledge of industry standards and controls, risk management and application configuration management

o Proven ability to work with a highly productive team.
o Ability to understand key budget assumptions and drivers and manage accordingly.
o Excellent interpersonal and communications skills. Must be able to work and communicate with a variety of technical staff within Delivery Services, BPS, Tech Services and the business area
o Familiarity with the secondary mortgage market and/or mortgage securities is a plus.
o Demonstrated experience supporting a work environment that encourages innovation and improvement; show willingness to try different approaches and explore alternative solutions.
o Contribute to a work environment that supports the value and importance of compliance in the workplace and provides the opportunities for others to escalate issues.
o Experience with any of Java, Unix, Korn Shell development, FTP, WebMethods and Autosys a plus
