Qualified candidates will provide expert consultation in one or more areas for the design, development and implementation of technical products and systems. In this role, candidates will be recognized as a technical leader and resource that recommends alterations and enhancements to improve quality of products and/or procedures. Candidates will be responsible for all internal activities and product development and demonstrating expertise in a variety of the field's concepts, practices and procedures. This position requires a bachelor's degree in engineering and at least 8-10 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Qualified candidates will rely on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals and may provide consultation on complex projects and is considered the top level contributor/specialist. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected while working in this role.
The engagement will include working with SAN Storage Administrators, Infrastructure Management, Technical Architects and Backup Administrators to analyze and implement storage cost reductions across the entire storage environment. Qualified candidates will be able to demonstrate best practices for:
- Determining optimal storage allocations
- Determining optimal SAN design
- Determining optimal data recovery techniques with appropriate data recovery times for critical
infrastructure components.
Qualified candidates will have 8-10 years of experience in the following areas:

- Management of medium sized projects
- Backup and recovery
- Knowledge of storage concepts
- Mirroring technology
- SAN architecture
- SAN provisioning
