Position: Senior .Net Developer with ArcGIS Server   (long term contract)

 

 

Duration: (end date is 6/30/2010)

 

 

Location: Greater Atlanta, GA

DOES NOT HAVE TO BE LOCAL.   Must be able to work in Atlanta however and interview ONSITE upon request!

Position:  Senior .NET  Developer

The candidate will be responsible for the development of ESRI ArcGIS Server 9.3.1 and SharePoint 2007 solutions.  The successful candidate will have implementation experience of ESRI ArcGIS Server applications, including Javascript API's, ArcGIS Explorer integration, and the deployment of SOAP/REST, WMS, and KML services.   The successful candidate will have a working knowledge of SharePoint 2007, significant experience in designing and implementing SharePoint 2007 sites and workflows and also significant .NET (C#, VB.NET, CAML, ASP, XML) development experience focusing on the development of SharePoint solutions such as web parts and content types.  Candidate will be working in IT Development and interacting with business offices, the candidate will apply industry accepted best practices as well as principles and processes uniquely related to SharePoint in developing efficient and effective sites.

 

Required Skills:

Bachelor Degree in Information Technology or other science related area, or equivalent professional work experience.

 7+ Years in IT Design and development.

 5+ Years in .NET Web development using C# and ASP.NET.

 2+ years hands-on experience with Sharepoint 2003 and Infopath.

Experience in creating Sharepoint workflows using InfoPath and WF in  .NET.

Experience in HTML, JavaScript, AJAX, XML, XSD and   ASP   are a plus.

Experience in SOAP Webservice Development in .NET.

Experience in WebForms and WCF  (Windows Communication Foundation) are plus.

Knowledge of SOA and BPM technologies. Experience in developing Web Parts.

Strong technical writing and verbal communication skills with a customer service orientation

Experience with ArcGIS Server 9.3.1 and ArcGIS Explorer

 

Preferred Skills:

Working knowledge of Sharepoint 2007 and BizTalk2006.

Experience with setting up Single Sign On and Identity Manager Integration server is plus.

Experience in Document Collaboration and Management systems.

Experience in formal BPM, or Business Process Engineering and familiarity in workflow based BPM tools is a plus.

Experience in SQLServer and Oracle Databases.

Knowledge of both .NET and java/J2EE application development is a plus.

Knowledge of Rational Software Architect (RSA) a plus- Microsoft Certifications (MCSD) for .NET is a plus.
