  • Consultant will be responsible for design, configuration of  SAP Centric (CS, PM, MM, SD) components to deliver business requirements around Equipment Service functionality. He will also develop functional specifications for the custom enhancement needed to bridge the gaps between SAP out-of-the-box and business requirements.
  • Expert level knowledge the functionality and configuration of Customer Service (CS) and Plant Maintenance (PM) modules in following areas.
    • Equipment/Installed Base Management
    • Service Notification Processing
    • Service Order Processing/Field Service
    • Service Billing/Contract Management
    • Equipments, Serial Numbers, BOM, Functional locations
    • Service Parts Planning/Management (optional – nice to have)
    • Interface with other SAP Modules such as Fixed Assets, Procurement
    • Good overall knowledge of the integration with SD, MM, BI, SCM and CRM.
    • Experience with the design, implementation and testing of enhancements to standard SAP through the use of user-exits, BADIs routines etc.

The position requires the individual to be responsible for managing the installation of dedicated wide area internet connections at various speeds from the AT&T Common backbone to various customer locations. This position requires good knowledge of Tier 1 ISP’s Routing Policies (WAN experience) as well as Network design, Routing, DNS, IP Subneting, TCP/IP protocol,(BGP, OSFP, RIP, and EIGRP) Security: NAT Configuration, Proxy Server, and Firewalls. Telecommunications, Good knowledge of (OCX, T3, fractional T3, T1’s and fractional T1, ATM, and Frame Relay, Voice Over-IP). Hardware (Routers, CSU/DSU, bridges, multiplexers, servers and switches configuration) Strong project management skills are required to compliment the required technical knowledge. This is NOT a hands on type of position. The position has the overall responsibility for implementing the service in order to meet their customer’s requirements, both technically and logistically. The Provisioning Technical Engineers need to be able to make decisions about the level of support that will be provided to the customer. An example of this is to go above and beyond the service description and responsibilities to ensure customer satisfaction. Our engineers, as managers, have the power and responsibility to make decisions about service levels that are outside the boundaries of support.

 

Project Management

Facilitates calls between the customers and various AT&T teams to resolve any and all issues

Tracks critical order milestones to meet customer delivery date

Escalates issues and problems on behalf of the Customer

Manages the entire order provisioning process

Coordinates final testing between customer, consultants, AT&T communication technicians
