Position: Lead Remedy Developer

Duration: 6+ Months

Location: DC and CA

Rate: Open

 

Prefer: CITIZENS, EAD

 

Leads Remedy Development team, manages existing Remedy applications, advises executives on best practices. Leads complex development efforts, is responsible for level of effort estimating at the project level, managing a development team to that budget and delivering solutions on-time and on-budget. Strong communication skills as well as the ability to drive creative solutions to business problems is highly desired.

Responsibilities:

* Manage and Lead Remedy Development team

* Manage existing Remedy Applications

* Architect solutions in BMC Remedy Action Request System (ARS) up to 7.x as well as ITSM suite, CMDB, SRM, Mid-Tier and related tools.

* Analyze, design and develop new requirements, customizing existing ITSM applications, upgrading ITSM App from earlier version to 7.x and developing complex applications using ARS development environment. 

* Develop Crystal Reports and deploy in Crystal Enterprise Server

* Integrate various external integration tools with ARS Including but not limited to HP Open View, Net Cool, LDAP, Business Objects, Mobile Device Platforms and GPS Applications. 

* Manage all configuration and deployment of Remedy city-wide

* Develop technical requirements from business requirements, identify level of effort and complexity of development efforts, lead develop team to completion on time and on budget.

Recommended Experience:

* At least 10 years experience managing a development team.

* At least 10 years experience in project management.

* At least 12 years total work experience.

* A minimum of a bachelor's degree.

Remedy ARS (version 5 - present)  Required  10  Years  3 - Expert 

Remedy ITSM (version 5 - present)  Required  10  Years  3 - Expert 

Database Administration  Required  8  Years  3 - Expert 

Report Writer Administration  Required  8  Years  3 - Expert 

OS/Network Administration  Required  10  Years  3 - Expert
