Responsibilities:

This is for a short-term limited assignment to export application specific data located on the iseries (as400) and import into a SQL Server database. 

 

Work Task Breakdown

• Identify all Physical File DDS for each file being migrated.
• Establish connectivity from SQL server to the iSeries.
• Import tables from iSeries to SQL server database.
• Validate field types and lengths for all imported files.
• Establish scheduled data refresh from iSeries to SQL server.

 

Education:

BA or BS in relevant field

 

Required Skills:

AS400, iSeries, SQL Server 2005

 

Years of Experience:

7+ years relevant experience required
